What is an academic credit?

An academic credit is the unit of measurement for the work of the student or member. It involves 3 hours of the student’s work, which includes:

  • 2 hours of independent work, and
  • 1 hour of interaction.

The academic credits that the student will accumulate throughout the detective course involve independent learning (personal study), research tasks, interaction in the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), participation in the blog, essays, and practical exercises for community engagement, evaluation activities, as well as the completion of assignments.
