Investigations Supervisor
The appointment is made through a personnel selection process by the Director of Investigations.
Its period of operation is defined by the tenure of the Director of Investigations.

2. POSITION DESCRIPTION (RESPONSIBILITY)
2.1. DEFINITION (Reason for the existence of the position, objectives, and expected results).
Responsible for ensuring that investigators are carrying out their duties during designated working hours and days in accordance with the assigned planning.
2.2. AREAS OF RESULTS
2.2.1. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage relations with the Director of Investigations in person, by phone, or in writing.
- Receive written work reports from investigators, to be sent by conventional mail to the city where the Director of Investigations resides (to his office or residence, as directed), including the supervisor’s signature.
- Receive a copy of each investigator’s planning schedule and organize his own plan to verify the presence of investigators in their respective locations.
- The Supervisor will be provided with photos and vehicles used by the investigators in order to carry out proper oversight.
- Send a weekly report to the Director of Investigations in a sealed envelope, written and signed by the supervisor.
- The report must be sent directly to the director, to his residence or office as agreed with the supervisor.
- The supervisor is not authorized, under any circumstances, to intervene in an investigation.
- The supervisor must not establish any kind of relationship, not even greetings or gestures, with the investigators.
- The supervisor’s presence at investigation sites must not be noticed by the investigators.
- If an investigator becomes aware of the supervisor’s presence, the supervisor must immediately report to the Director of Investigations so that another person may fulfill the oversight function.
