The requirements for creating a private detective credential are as follows:

1. Detective Identification Number

It is necessary to have the Detective Identification Number.

This unique number is created during the issuance of the Private Detective Diploma (Review the requirements for obtaining the diploma).

If the detective does not have their identification number, please request it by emailing info@cursodetective.com.

2. Credential Creation

To create the credential, the private detective must submit the following documents:

• Photos of both sides of the identity document from their country of origin or a photo of their passport.
• Full name of the applicant.
• Identification number from their country.
• Identification details such as: Gender, Eye color, Height (in centimeters), and Date of birth.
• Home address including house number, city, and country.
• A digital photo of their face (ID-style), including shoulders and with a solid color background (white is recommended). It is recommended that the detective be dressed formally in the photo.
• A basic utility service certificate from the last 3 months (electricity, water, phone, or internet) in the detective’s name. If the detective does not have a utility service certificate in their name, a family member’s certificate (with proof of the family relationship) can be used.
• Digital proof of permission to leave the country or a certificate of no criminal record (digital). The document must be updated within the last 3 months.
• A front-facing photo showing the detective’s face alongside their passport or identity document.
• Signed Disclaimer of Responsibility for misuse and scanning of the credential, with the national identity document attached under the signature.
• Submission of the detective’s location twice at randomized times. The detective will be asked to submit their location twice to verify the home address. The process will not proceed until the location is verified. If there is doubt, falsification, or suspicion of location alteration, the detective will be asked to provide a video transmission for verification one or more times.

The credential creation process can take between 7 to 30 business days.

3. Credential

The credential is issued in digital format in two forms:

1. The first format is a photo that combines both the front and back sides of the credential in a single image. This can be carried on a mobile phone, and the QR code allows for internet identification.
2. The second format is a document in Illustrator format, suitable for printing on any PVC material credential printer (this file adheres to global standard dimensions for credential printing).
